What a Weekend!! October 6, 2009
This past Friday and Saturday, I was at the Creating Keepsake Convention in Glendale, Arizona. Remember, I am not into traditional scrap booking anymore, I am digital, so to go there and see all of the STUFF, was mind blowing. I am a visual person, so I decided to mentally find over 40,000 pieces of embellishments (which I have access to with my book business) and try to compare it to a laptop bag. OMG!!! I have a SUV and I still don’t think it all would have fit. I am trying to simplify my life, and I am positive, I have one way of doing it.
In talking with the ladies there, they did admit, Digital does have it place among keeping memories, however, our Home Decor, is what grabbed them. The picture blocks for the childrens’ room, and Name sign to hang in your house, or even a clock which your childs name and picture in it, is something to create and call it your own.
I am willing to teach anyone how to create these projects, they are such lovely gifts!!!

Back from Heritage Makers Leadership Retreat!! Had a Blast June 23, 2009

First of all, Talk about fun!! I just love my little book business. The people I have met, the things we do. Can you believe I got to room with one of the founder Sharon Murdoch? What a Fabulous Lady!!
It was an action packed 2 days. Upon arriving, arrived at the Canyons resort in Park City Utah. There were 6 of us in a 3 room suite. I had some of the best roomies a person could ask for. We chatted, laughed, cried and ate together for 2 days, I was a privilege to get to know all of them.
For 2 days, I was Inspired from some of our top leaders. It was really Fabulous to hear that our company was going to be featured on Good Morning America on Tuesday, June 22nd during a segment of “Exciting Home Based Business” only to be bumped by Jon and Katie’s Divorce. Can you believe it?? Our company focus is on strengthening families by the power of story, and GMA focused on a family being torn apart!!

My office is CLEAN!!! April 6, 2009
Today was a very productive day!! My office is clean, you can see the floor and the my supplies for the upcoming month are together. It is a beautiful thing having your own home business. I just love my job!!
After a hectic weekend, and a successful Digi-Crop on Friday, I spent the day in my office sorting, filing and cleaning. Wow, what a sense of accomplishment!! I feel organized, at least for tonight.
My to-do lists are growing, however, a lot has been crossed off. WHEW!!!

I have 11 words that I tell my clients…What I do. Why I do it. How I do it. That’s my business in a nut shell. Some of you may think I’m nuts, being so passionate about my Heritage Makers business, and you may be a bit right. Who can say they absolutely LOVE their job? Not many….So…
WHAT I DO…I help people preserve their photos through storybooking. I help people solve their picture problem. I help people strengthen their home and family through story. That is What I Do.
WHY I DO IT…I am a Heritage Maker because our generation is the last generation who has real paper photos (pre-2000 and hand-me-downs from relatives). I will not hand down a memory stick, a hard drive, or a disc to my children. Everyone deserves to read the story behind the photos they take. They say a picture is worth a 1,000 words. Who’s writing your 1,000 words?
HOW I DO IT…I do it with our online publishing studio (MAC and PC friendly). I do it with over 35,000 pieces of digital artwork at my disposal. I do it with text boxes that have no word limit. I do it when my kids are sleeping or when my husband is giving them a bath. I make time. I do it by learning through other amazing consultants and my team.
